The wood is well integrated under the characteristic notes of fresh red fruit, dominated by blackcurrants.The fruit maintains a good presence. The overall impression is already very well balanced.
The second wine of Château Lafite Rothschild, has similar characteristics to the main wine. It however has its own unique characteristic due to a higher proportion of Merlot used in the wine making. This is also a much sought after wine given it bears the Grand Vin’s name on its label.

Potentially an 100 point wine, this is a dense, serious and impressive selection. There is a classical structure to this wine, with dark tannins and acidity working in tandem. At the same time, the wine has immense, opulent fruits that are a characteristic of this vintage. It’s a wine that will last for many generations.
I score according to 3 prime factors: because of two reasons firstly, It’s barrel and not in a bottle yet, which means they aren’t’ finished yet, secondly the blends works when it age and not barrel tasting cant give finish blend in my own opinion.
